Trinity is located on the Bonavista Peninsula, about 1 hour from Clarenville and 3 hours from St. John’s.

By Air

The nearest airports are:

  • St. John’s International Airport (YYT) – Trinity is approximately 3 hours by car from St. John’s.

  • Gander International Airport (YQX) – approximately 2.5 hours by car from Trinity.

By Car

From Clarenville, take Route 230 (Bonavista Peninsula Highway) and drive for approximately 50 minutes. Then, turn right onto Route 239, which leads directly into Trinity. After a short drive, you’ll see the entrance to the historic town.

Tip:

There are two places named Trinity in Newfoundland. Be sure you’re heading to Trinity on the Bonavista Peninsula (Route 239).
